Peer support for life after treatment.
PeerNextNY, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping individuals transition back to everyday life after medical or psychiatric treatment—through community, structure, encouragement, and real-world support. Peer support is non-clinical and focuses on practical guidance—coping skills, recovery coaching, crisis navigation support, and community connection. In New York, peer services commonly connect with statewide training and professional pathways such as the Academy of Peer Services (APS), advocacy and workforce support through the Peer Network of New York (PNNY), and peer programs delivered by hospitals and local agencies.
PeerNextNY.org is part of this New York peer-support ecosystem, with a specific mission: helping people transition back to everyday life after medical or psychiatric treatment through peer-driven, non-medical recovery support and structured community connection.

PeerNextNY, Inc. exists to reduce isolation and increase stability during the critical “aftercare gap”—the period when formal treatment ends but daily life pressures return.
We support peers who are navigating life transitions—especially after medical or psychiatric treatment—when consistent encouragement
and connection can make a lasting difference. We provide a welcoming peer-driven community that helps people rebuild routines, restore confidence,
and move forward with practical support and accountability.

The People We Serve

PeerNextNY.org exists to help fill that gap with peer-led structure, encouragement, and connection. We support peers who are navigating life transitions—especially after medical or psychiatric treatment—when consistent encouragement and connection can make a lasting difference.
